Sands has heard reports that the bereavement rooms on the delivery unit at the Rosie Hospital not suitable for use by people who experience pregnancy or baby loss. We know the staff at the hospital are providing great care, but they may need support to improve bereavement facilities.
To help gather evidence for change, we are asking people who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss at the Rosie Hospital to share their experiences.
We are also interested in people’s experiences of care in the neonatal unit, and mental health care following discharge from hospital.
We want to know about what’s working well, as well as what could be improved, to help us improve the service for both bereaved parents and frontline staff. It should take around 10 minutes to complete.
We know the questions might bring up some difficult feelings and we would like to offer support to anyone that finds answering the questions upsetting or challenging. You can find out more on our website.

This is because bereavement care services have changed a lot in recent years, and we need recent feedback to make the case for improvements.
