Finding the words: supporting the NHS to support families

Bereavement following the death of a baby is one of the most difficult parts of the job for many health care professionals.

They worry about how they will cope if the worst happens, that they will not know what to say or do, or that they will breakdown themselves.

Sands are the experts in supporting NHS staff to respond to, and cope with, bereavement. We are in a unique position to help alleviate the pressure on the NHS by supporting staff to support the bereaved.

We need your help to get this message out.

Please ask your MP, MSP, AM or MLA to share what Sands has to offer with local health leaders, so that we can reach all those NHS front line workers who need support right now.

But first please let us know which country in the UK you live in, so we can direct you to the right person.
