Always There - Help us improve maternity care for those pregnant after loss in Scotland

All women pregnant again following the death of a baby should be offered the same maternity team to care for them and their baby, through pregnancy, birth and afterwards.

Known as ‘Continuity of Carer’, this model of care helps save lives and create emotional and psychological safety for mothers and partners.

The Government is committed to rolling-out this model of care - we want them to make sure that women who are pregnant again after the death of a baby are prioritised to receive it.

Please ask your MSPs to write to Humza Yousaf, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care about this.

Please add your details so we can find your local MSPs and give you a template message that you can edit to send to them.
